Osmanya Project

Osmanya is a writing system developed for the Somali language that had an immense cultural and historical impact in the few decades it was used. Today, many young Somalis aren’t aware of its existence. In light of this, I developed an online resource that allows Somalis to produce literature using it, breathing life into a historically precious piece of cultural phenomena.
